Our Head of Counselling Paul Doble will be leaving Youth Concern at the end of this week, having worked at Youth Concern for an amazing 17 years!
During his time with us Paul has witnessed some significant changes and has been instrumental in revolutionising our counselling service. His vision and determination to create a bigger and better service has led to us now being able to provide counselling to 70 young people at any one time, compared to 28 just six years ago.
One of the key innovations Paul made was to introduce contract counselling which enables us to flexibly meet the growing demand for our counselling and he has enthusiastically supported colleagues within his own counselling team and across the other services, inspiring us all to be ambitious for young people.
Paul has made an immeasurable difference to young people across Aylesbury Vale and we wish him the very best. A huge thank you from everyone at Youth Concern.
Margaret Woolley, who has worked alongside Paul over the past 7 years, will take over the leadership of the counselling team at Youth Concern and we wish her every success as she continues to build upon the strong foundations that Paul has created.
