Youth Concern receives a significant amount of its funding from grant-making trusts so it was wonderful to have the opportunity to thank one of our biggest grant-making donors in person on Monday 13th November when the Lloyds Bank Foundation visited our Drop-in Centre.

Dame Ann Limb, Chair of the Lloyds Bank Foundation and High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, Sir Robin Budenberg, Chair of Lloyds Banking Group and Richard Paynter, Head of Grants (South) for the Lloyds Bank Foundation met our CEO Hannah and Director of Youth Services Steven, and two of our Next Step residents (not pictured).

We talked about what it’s like to be vulnerably housed or homeless as a young person, the important role partner charities and agencies play in signposting young people to our doors, and the fact that most people – including Sir Robin – knows what they want to do when they’re 21!

Thank you, Ann, Robin and Richard for visiting, and thank you to the Lloyds Bank Foundation for your continued support.
