Merryville House is officially open

Amidst all the grim headlines at the moment, we are delighted to bring you the great news that the Next Step project is open! We have two residents living at Merryville House, receiving bespoke support so they can ultimately live independently. More residents will move in over the next few weeks.

On 17th December, the Mayor of Aylesbury, Cllr Mike Smith officially opened the Next Step. Mike has been a long time supporter of this project and has raised almost £20,000 towards it.

Mike was joined by our Chair of Trustees Steve Louis, CEO Hannah Asquith and the Next Step Project Manager Emma Dewey.
Regrettably it wasn’t safe to hold a opening ceremony with you all but we are happy to share a clip of ribbon cutting with you above and some words from Mike about the project here.
