Occasionally a company contacts Youth Concern, wishing to volunteer at our Drop-in Centre. Sometimes it’s a match made in heaven – like last week, when master chocolatiers Lindt employees cooked up a storm with and for 30 of our young people! They also got involved playing pool and table tennis. Our young people loved it.

“I don’t usually like to eat in front of people, but this is so good, I’ve eaten everything”

This Saturday, a team from Fairhive will be cooking brunch for our young people. In the current economic climate with food costs soaring, cooked meals mean even more to our young people. Thank you Lindt and Fairhive for treating our young people.
