Youth Concern entered the Angels’ Den on Wednesday night (think Dragons’ Den but for charities) and walked away with £18,000!

Counsellor Sam and CEO Hannah, cheered on by the Next Step Project’s Robert (and an audience 200 strong!) pitched for vital funds for our Next Step Project, supported accommodation for previously homeless young people in Aylesbury Vale, Bucks.

Ten charities had been invited to pitch (from 65+ applicants) for a share of £100,000… and we were awarded the second highest sum!

Huge thanks to organisers The Clare Foundation, the Angels Mike Clare, Sarah Leslie, Matt Storey, George Anson, Sarah Leslie and Dragons’ Den’s very own Peter Jones), compère Nathan Cooper and everyone who came to support. Many congratulations to the other 9 pitching charities, all of whom left with a donation.
