Every year, our local community foundation, Heart of Bucks, welcomes supporters to its annual reception at which one of the six nominated charities wins the ‘People’s Choice’ prize of £1,000. The competition recognises the organisations whose work in the community and impact on the local area makes Bucks a better place to live.

We were delighted to be shortlisted for the People’s Choice Award this year. Our CEO Hannah and two volunteers, Ben (youth panel) and Charlie (Nightstop host) represented Youth Concern last Wednesday, showcasing our work to guests.

We’d like to congratulate Latimer-based winners Restore Hope, and thank Heart of Bucks and everyone who voted for Youth Concern. The evening provided an excellent opportunity to connect with people who care about local causes.
