What weighs a quarter of a tonne?
An alligator, a grizzly bear, a lion, a vending machine, and a motorcycle are all suitable answers to this question.
Many of you will be thinking why have I asked this question – and no, it wasn’t a question which was asked at our superb quiz night last week (pictured).
Well, this season we have seen a quarter of a tonne in food and care items donated to our charity partner, Youth Concern, at two of our matches, with most recently approximately 140 kilograms donated at our match versus AFC Dunstable in January.
Not only that but 80 people attended our quiz night last week which saw a further £600+ raised for the charity. This means that as well as the food and care items donated, we have now raised more than £2,500 this season for Youth Concern.
We would like to thank everyone for their generosity thus far this season. It is not only appreciated by the club and 21CD, but also by Youth Concern themselves.
Thank you!
