Thanks to Aylesbury Community Board, a grant from Wickes and donations from DEV COM and Origin Windows and Doors, we are delighted that we can ‘green-up’ our outdoor space at the Uptown Coffee Bar.

This project will see us partner with Chiltern Rangers to create a vibrant multi-purpose outdoor space for Youth Concern’s current and future vulnerable 13-25 year olds to nurture and enjoy. Young people will play a key part in delivering this project and will be involved in the design of the project and artwork, and the physical development of the garden too. In keeping with our Drop-in Centre’s brightly coloured murals, young people, with the guidance and support of local artist Dan Wilson will create nature inspired artwork. In time, food grown in our new raised beds will be picked, prepared and cooked by young people in our kitchen.
