On Sunday 2^nd April, Cllr Steven Lambert, Youth Concern Ambassador and Hannah, our CEO were delighted to speak to a gathering of Bucks’ charities and good causes about our work. Nearly three years ago, during the pandemic, the Buckinghamshire Masonic Centenary Fund donated £2,300 for new equipment for our Drop-in Centre’s music studio.

In the five months since October, there have been 275 separate sessions in our music studio. It’s a very popular (free!) resource that brings 13-25 year olds to our Drop-in Centre. Often, once relationships have been established with our Music Youth Worker, young people feel able to open up about the situations they’re facing, and we can support them with myriad services including counselling, food parcels, budgeting advice.
