We’re incredibly grateful to have not one, but two new Charity of the Year supporters — the amazing Aylesbury Wombles and Bierton Events!

This year, the Aylesbury Wombles have chosen Youth Concern as the beneficiary of their inspiring “Le Womble 24hr” challenge in September. For 24 continuous hours, volunteers will be out litter picking across Aylesbury — with some dedicated Wombles taking on the full 24 hours themselves. An incredible act of community spirit and commitment.

Meanwhile, Bierton Events continue to show the power of local people coming together to make a difference. Through their recent Brain of Britain Quiz and Race Night, they’ve already raised an outstanding £1,500 to support young people feel safe, seen and supported.

We’re also excited to be strengthening our connection with the Masonic community across Aylesbury. With 17 Masonic Lodges locally, we’re looking forward to building new partnerships and opportunities to support young people in our community when we reconnect after their summer break in October.

To every supporter, volunteer, fundraiser and community member — thank you. Your support helps young people feel safer, stronger, and more hopeful about their future.

If you’d like to become a supporter or hold a fundraiser for Youth Concern, we’d love to hear from you. Contact Karyn who can help you bring your fundraising ideas to life and show you the powerful difference your support could make to a young person who needs us most.
