On Saturday 12th December, Youth Concern took a stall on Aylesbury Market to offer 13-25 year olds free hot drinks.
Buildbase, supported by their waste and resource management provider Reconomy, donated hot drinks to Youth Concern. In collaboration with Aylesbury Youth Action, a team of wonderful Youth Concern volunteers served something like 150 hot chocolates, coffees and soups, and gave young people a goodie bag including snacks, a face mask and crucially, information about our work. Thanks go to everyone who gave their time, to Kings Farm Shop Wendover for lending us a gazebo, to Waitrose Aylesbury for bottled water, to FareShare for edible goodies, and to The Free Masketers for face masks.
The generous public donated just over £100 to both charities.
